Typed letter in German, signed “A. Einstein,” on the reverse side by Albert Einstein.

One page, typed on both sides. On Einstein’s personal, embossed Princeton, NJ letterhead, but he typed the return address as “Saranac Lake, NY”.  

A letter to Mrs. S. Feuchtwanger stating that he is willing to try to help the M. Einstein family come to the United States. 

  In part, “To date, I have not been able to accomplish anything in

the very deplorable matter concerning the M. Einstein family…

I do admit, than in a case of such desperation, not even the

slightest possibility of hope should be overlooked…”  

The letter was folded to mail, has toning to reverse, otherwise perfect. 

Dated July 25,1942.  Approximately 8”x10”.

Museum quality archival frame included in price, but the outer frame has some scratches.
