Official St. Andrews 2000 British Open Pin flag, nicely signed in black paint pen by 2000 British Open Champion Tiger Woods.

Embroidered into the flag is Tiger’s score from the final day of the 2000 Open.

Woods got his first Open Championship title in 2000 as he set a tournament record by shooting 19-under at St. Andrews, the birthplace of golf.

Throughout the tournament, Woods shot in the 60’s to run away with the title.

The first round saw him shoot five-under, while following that up with a six-under 66 in the second round. The third round saw another five-under, with the final round a semi-coronation as he shot a three-under 69.

This tournament showed how dominant Tiger could be, and was the second of four-straight major wins.

Signed at an official paid private autograph session.

Sold with Certificates of Authenticity from both The Autograph Source and Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA).

The British Open, referred to simply as The Open in golf circles, is the oldest and in many ways the most difficult of the four major golf championships.

The 2000 Open was the 129th in the tournament’s history, and it was highlighted by the incredible performance of Tiger Woods. At the age of 24, Woods captured his first British Open and fourth major title overall with an eight-stroke win.

Tiger’s fourth major win was historic because it gave Woods the career grand slam. He became just the fifth golfer in history to accomplish the feat and youngest by two years, beating the record held previously by Jack Nicklaus.

This 18th hole pin flag is embroidered with Woods’ final score from that epic weekend. Woods has autographed this embroidered 2000 British Open pin flag in black paint pen.
