____________

This original Graham Watson photograph was converted to a watercolor image (printed on archival watercolor paper) using the art quality Ciclee process. Because of the details and subtle gradations of tone and color, this art-quality printing process is recognized by museums, galleries, and collectors worldwide. This image depicts Armstrong, surrounded by his teammates, proudly carrying the “Stars and Stripes” along the Champs Elysees cobblestones while celebrating his second Tour victory in 2000.

Only the highest quality archival inks made by Scitex have been used to produce these prints. These inks have been tested under various lighting and environmental conditions and have shown to maintain their brilliance and color accuracy for up to 75 years. As added protection, these prints have been treated with a coat of UV Protective Liquid Laminate. This coating protects the art from abrasion, moisture, premature fade and smearing or sticking if rolled for storage or shipping.
This coating has very high resistance to ultraviolet light and will not yellow, oxidize, check, crack or peal.
